Pi in the Sky

Next Saturday is Pi Day and I'm telling you early so you can think about how you want to celebrate it. Pi Day actually comes around every year on March 14th (3.14 you know) however this year will be extra special since it occurs in 2015 (therefore it includes the next two numbers in the series 3.1415). Celebrate it by doing something athletic like walk 3.14 miles; arithmetic like using Pi as a measurement (I'm only 20 pi-years old); fashionable like wearing a Pi t-shirt (Dan, have you used that Think Geek coupon yet?); delicious by eating "pi foods" as pineapple, pizza, or of course pie; artistic by making up a Pi song, poem, or dance; watching the movie "The Life of Pi"'; maybe sitting around w/ friends and discussing different ways of deriving Pi (let me know if you want to do that one); or even dressing like Albert Einstein (March 14th happens to also be his birthday - try wearing mismatched socks.) Remember spread the word that Pi Day is coming!
