Last Fall puffballs

Woke up to a sleet storm this morning. There was an ice covering on everything. Since I'd visited Aunt June yesterday and my friend, Nancy, had said she couldn't go to church this morning, I decided to stay home today. Dressed in black tights, lime green sweater, and white work socks. Obviously wasn't expecting any company. I made a quiche for breakfast, started up the crock pot for Swiss steak for supper, and did my taxes. Took a break about mid-day to watch a murder mystery on TV. One of those days that was not only laid-back but productive. Well ... maybe not that productive ,,, I do have to pay in to both the feds and the state.
