Planning Commission meeting last night and bowling tonight. The Planning Commission submitted a final copy of the Comprehensive Plan - finally. It will be presented to the board this month and then it will be added to the Annual Town Meeting (or appended at the end) for the people's approval. The town board is already talking about having the Planning Commission work on a mining ordinance. If I can see this Comprehensive Plan through to the end, I'll be happy. The papers I signed when joining the Planning Commission state that my "tour of duty" ends this May. As for bowling - well, we are down to 2 1/2 months left in the season. After this, before I join anything I'm going to ask how late meetings/activities go and how long a commitment it is!
