The dairy owners were training in a new guy this morning. Gary already works for a local vet but is going to milk at the dairy on the weekends. Gary is replacing "Weekend Susan" who works my shift on Saturday and Sunday. Susan has been at the dairy for a number of years and Carol is thinking this might be a good occasion to get everyone together for a dinner to say goodbye. While I've never worked w/ Susan we would talk at dinners out or at training sessions. Her leaving makes me the oldest milker. I don't mean in longevity (Mike has two months on me). No - I mean in age. Plus I'm also the only female milker so I guess this makes me the official "old chick" at work.
