Can hear the winds blowing around the house. Just wind, no crying banshee wail - yet. The wind is suppose to bring in the coldest temps yet this week. Just -17 F this morning. Not as cold as Monday but cold enough that once more we didn't post-dip cows. The heavy-duty silk long johns did a great job again. However I bought only one set of the heavy-duty ones last spring when they went on sale. Figured I could use them when I was sitting at home. I bought five pair of the light-weight ones since I'm very active at work and didn't want to overheat. So I've been washing the heavy-weight ones every day and hanging them to dry. Yes, I could just wear the light-weight ones like I did last year and chill out a bit but I've gotten used to being toasty. Must be getting old.
