Took Indy out for her constitutional at 6 a.m. this morning. I can usually see 11 or so lights on the horizon - neighboring farm's yard lights or cell phone towers. This morning the fog was so thick I couldn't see any lights at all. The rest of the day there was just a white mist outside my windows - a product of the snow pack melting. Around sunset (the mist started getting darker),Indy and I went for a walk. A little bittersweet. Great to be able to get out and about again but couldn't go further than around the meadow behind the house. Only day 2 of deer hunting season.
