Monarch butterfly
I picked up three 8-gig flash drives for $6. I'm putting all of the pictures I've taken of the construction of the new calf barn on one and giving it to the dairy owners. I've been e-mailing them one picture at the end of each week but the boss asked if I had any more. Trying to send them all via e-mail isn't really viable so figured I'd just load them on one of these little portable storage units. I grew nostalgic as I looked at the package of drives. Mounted on cardboard packaging, sitting on the sale counter, was 24 gig of storage. When I started out as a DBA (database administrator) I remember when our first database broke that 1 gig size and we held a little celebration. Well, maybe this calls for another celebration. (Any excuse for a party is OK w/ me.)

Yes, amazing! I remember working with the IBM System/3 when it's main "core" memory was 32K. I still have the shoebox sized memory here as a souvenir.
Another way to share multiple pics/movies is to put them on a Facebook album (or your favorite website), then just email the "link" to folks. Or you could use a shared database with Google Drive.
Nice butterfly shots, Sue!
