My birthday today. Decided to do some of my favorite things. After work I sat out on the deck and soaked in the afternoon sun. Then went to my neighbors to mooch a cup of coffee and see their new kitten. Discussed life w/ Anita until Doug came in and said one of my car tires was going flat. He was able to pump it up for me and I bopped downtown to the mechanic's. He found a screw lodged in it and effected a patch. While I waited I picked up supper at Glory B's. Home and back out on the deck (Northwoods summers are to be enjoyed!) Now I'm on-line spending money on shoes, dishes, and those Christmas cards that are on my TODO list for August. Looks like it's going to be a clear night. Think it will be back out on the deck after dusk to pick out constellations. Yeah - life is good.
