Ragged Fringed Orchid

The day didn't start out good for Justin. He began by backing the skid-steer into a gate and breaking the gate. Then Juanita and I had to stop milking because he hadn't cleared the first group of cows so we could let the second group of cows out. To be honest, both of those mishaps have occurred w/ almost everyone who has worked out in the barn for any length of time - they just happened to Justin a little sooner than most. However when he reported for cleaning the parlor, he seemed ready to go. On Monday he had decided he was done scrubbing the parlor so had changed into his street clothes 15 minutes before his ride came. I reminded him today that he should check w/ me before changing in case there was more to be done. I gave him some new tasks to do and he did his best. That's good by me.
