Bunchberry flowers
Friday afternoons aren't my usual gig at the library but I was filling in for someone else. Turns out the library is a very lively place at that time. The Summer Reading Program has started and there were children of all ages throughout the place being read to or doing more messy activities outside on the picnic tables. People are coming in to use the computers. Others want to pick up a book(s) before the weekend. Even had some people asking for a library card. There are books to be put away and books to be pulled for requests from other libraries. There is an automatic counter on the door that is pretty accurate in counting how many people come through the door. One of the last things I do before shutting the library down is check the counter - nearly 100 people today. Pretty good for a little library like ours.
