Blackberry blossoms

The Planning Commission was asked by the town board to come up w/ a recommendation on which roads to open up to ATV traffic. Basically, none of us on the commission are ATV lovers but the county had recently opened up roads through our town to ATV traffic (some of them so hilly that mixing slower ATV's in w/ cars seems foolhardy).  There really wasn't much of a choice.  Below is our recommendation:

"The Planning Commission recommends that the town open all of its roads to ATV traffic.

We realize that a few ATV riders may choose to cause damage to areas. The board will need to be responsive to citizen requests to close a road if there is ATV damage being caused because a road has been opened.

We also realize that opening all roads is an idiotic suggestion but since the county has already opened some very hazardous highways to ATV's, we feel the town can be just as stupid as the county."

I'm not sure that our entire recommendation will be presented to the Town Board.
