Yesterday's cleanup at work went long. Today's was quite short. Tuesday's are vet check day. Mike had completed his tasks and was waiting for the vet to show. As Carlee and I finished milking, he did most of the washing up. When I walked into the tank room, the only things left to do were to go through the shut down routine, wash up the last of the things we had used, and break open a new box of towels. Before I walked out, checked on how Carlee was doing. She was rinsing down the other side of the parlor. Nothing I could do to help her along. Jumped in the car, drove home, and gave my friend, Nancy, a call. We had lunch and then bopped over to a nursery to buy flowers for this growing season. Nothing like picking out pots of plants to pick up one's spirits.
