My friend, Nancy, and I were solving all of the world's problems on a road trip to the garden nursery last Tuesday. We were stymied though by the attraction of street drugs. Since neither of us was speaking from experience, we were struggling to understand why people turned to them for a "high." Nancy said she got a high from just sitting out on their boat dock on a warm morning. I was thinking more about it today. I get a high from the cows sniffing my hair (they really like my shampoo); from seeing bluebird eggs in my bird houses; from finding orchids in the wild; from watching the sun rise and set; basically from all sorts of things. Not sure what that means. Either it doesn't take much to get me "high" -or- maybe I've got a lot to be high about.
