The hospital where I and all of my siblings were born is closing it's birthing center in March. After that you can't be born in my county anymore, I guess. I'm sure if you couldn't wait for the hour ride through the hills to the next hospital, the docs at the hospital would deliver your child. The end of natal services made the front page of the newspaper. Just opposite it was a picture of the first baby born at the hospital in 2014. A poignant juxtaposition of news articles.
