The herdsman was giving cows shots today so she was in the parlor w/ Jody and I as we milked. Jody and the herdsman both have 4 year olds and they discussed how they were involving their kids in Christmas festivities - from decorating the tree, to making cookies, to having them sit on Santa's knee. My parents told me about Santa but in the same context as Cinderella, gnomes, or Never Never Land - a fairy tale. Of course, as it gets closer to Christmas eve, it might be fun to set out cookies and milk. Not for Santa - Indy.
