Vernal pond

Saw a red-winged blackbird south of town this morning. On the walk today Canadian Geese flew overhead. Guess they are flying back now that there is open water again. Expect to see the migration north pick up now that the sun is finally making some impact on the snow pack.  As a further example, one brother is back from Texas and heard another in Arizona is due back at the end of the month.
