Bluebird

Stopped by to see Aunt June this morning. There was a bulletin on the front door as I walked in asking all visitors to check in at the front desk. A flu-like virus is rampant in the assisted living area and the nursing home was taking precautions to be sure it didn't hit them too. I cleaned my hands and put on a mask. Was a little concerned what June would think when she saw me but she just smiled. We drank our coffee together and it was so nice we decided to go outside. A nurse said we could tour through the new courtyard so we walked around that. Found a snowdrift still intact and I made snowballs for June to throw. When it was time to go back inside we discovered the door we used to enter the courtyard had locked behind us. Not a problem. Back we went through the courtyard to the parking lot and came into the nursing home through the main door. Problem was, June's ankle bracelet set off alarms. Well... it really isn't a visit w/ Aunt June until we set off an alarm somewhere!
