Haven't been eating out as much and whenever I come home, I first wash my hands. Haven't had the time to get a flu shot yet and really don't want to catch it. The flu is bad enough when you have someone to look after you but I'm pretty sure that while Indy and Ori would snuggle up to me as I lay in bed, that would be the extent of their care-giving. Plus I'd have to miss a couple days of work. Jose didn't make it in this morning. He called the owners at 4 a.m. to say his car had gone off the road and taken out a fence. He was OK but he wouldn't be able to make morning milking. The owners came in to help me milk until 6 a.m. when Sephra came in. Sephra milked w/ me until Mike finished cleaning pens and then he came in to milk w/ me until it was time to bring in more cows. Then I was working on my own. So when someone can't make it in, there is backup but it does make things harder for everyone else. Still probably better than getting sick.

The flu sounds pretty ugly this year. We have sanitizer in our cars and I carry one in my purse but not much help if someone is coughing in your face. Maybe we could wear those masks like they do in China.

Owl. Now I suppose you would like what kind of owl is it?

I love the owl photo!
Keith and I went to the drugstore last night and got the flu shot. It wasn't too bad and they said that it would take about 2 weeks before it really kicked in. Guess we will have to avoid sick people until then?
