It's official - after April I won't to town clerk anymore. The town's caucus was held today and the incumbent supervisors, treasurer and new clerk will all run unopposed. However, there are two people running for chairman - the incumbent and a challenger. After the meeting I received a call from the challenger who asked for a list of all of the voters in the township and their addresses. The only way I know of getting it is to copy a poll book. I put an e-mail in to the county clerk to see if the list might be on-line somewhere. If not that will be a lot of extra work for me. Not a concern to the this guy, I suppose. Why worry about the lame-duck clerk?
