Talked Brent into putting in a display at the library of the pens he's turned on the lathe. He put in a wonderfully informative display of pens made from local woods, exotic woods, acrylics, antlers, clay, and some other "fun" designs. Has a write up below each set of pens describing a little of the process he goes through making that type of pen. I'll provide closeups of each of the groups of pens in my blog over the next week. A little break from pictures from the back yard.

Big congrats to Brent .... beautiful work! My brother-in-law (retired HS Shop teacher)does this too.
Brent gave us a pen, as a gift, and I will say it is not only beautiful in construction but the mechanics of the pen work wonderfully well. I use it almost every day.
