Hedge Bindweed

Kelsey started at the dairy today. She's going to be milking in the morning w/ me but I'm not sure which days yet. While she had milked cows before, she hadn't ever milked in a parlor situation and was a little dubious about putting a milking machine on the cow by reaching between it's back legs. It takes awhile to convince yourself that a cow can't kick you from that position (if you get your face too close, they can knee you rather badly though). However, she worked hard and was happy when she could see we were bringing in the last of the cows from the holding pen. Hated to tell her that this was just the end of a group.  Still two more groups to go - about 180 cows. Since Carol, the dairy owner, was training her in, I let her break the news.
