Virgin's Bower and Bergamot

My nephew, Gideon, stopped by today w/ some deer antlers. Brent had asked him for antlers that are thick and had a section straight enough so he could try turning them on his lathe to make pens. Gideon talked about dogs that have been taught to hunt for deer horn sheds. I immediately thought, "Indy can do that." Indy was already interested in the antlers and I'm sure she'll pick up the idea of hunting for them quickly. Still have to decide if I want her to pick up a shed and return it to me -or- sit next to it so I can take a picture of it. Also, what command do I give to tell her to start hunting? Think I'll sleep on it before we start training so I don't confuse her. I told Gideon, as he left, that I hoped he had good hunting this year. After all, I don't want to be the only one in the family to get a deer this year.

TV show "Mountain Men" just had clip this past week showing a guy using his dog to find deer antlers. No elaborate commands, other than "go find some antlers". Seemed to work. Brought back a couple for future knife handles. Tired getting back to his old truck after hiking around for 10 miles, the truck didn't start, so he spent several hours out in the cold remote dark woods, while his buddy hiked 5 miles to the nearest road for help. Expensive antlers!
