Bluet damselflies and a dragonfly

The recall election is over. My town was pretty typical of the state - we had a little over 60% voter turnout and went heavily for the incumbent governor. The news is trying to make the election results a portend of how the presidential race will go. They forget that a lot of voters felt that the recall was baseless and wanted to send the message that they wouldn't sit still for any more of them.   In the meantime, the state Government election Accountability Board is asking for each clerk to send them new useless information and the losing political party has already requested copies of our poll books, tally sheets, and anything else generated from the election. (There won't be a recount so they just want revenge?) The end result ... the recall election hasn't changed anything.
