Heading for home in the morning

The final touches are being put on the new bulk tank at the dairy. It will hold 6,000 lbs dwarfing the tank we have been using. Took awhile to get it calibrated (the stick that is inserted at the top has to indicate accurately how much milk is in the tank.) However, that must now be completed since the carpenter was on-site today filling in the hole in the wall that was made to accomodate the tank. Since the tank is oval, sits partially inside the building and partially outside, plus is slightly angled downward toward the building so that it will empty completely, he has to be a bit of a craftsman to make the wall fit to the tank. Will be happy once things get back to normal. Though climbing to the top of this behemouth to put the milk pipe in each morning won't be one of my favorite activities.
