Sunlit clouds

Hoofer was at the dairy today. Jordan, who usually takes off to help at the heifer and calf barn, stayed to milk w/ me so as to keep up a constant supply of cows to the hoofer's station. Jordan is a talker. He was explaining the pros/cons of different types of logging trucks and I must not have grunted an affirmation that I was listening often enough.  He stopped and asked if he was talking too much. "No," I said, "I just don't know a lot about truck engines." Jordan was silent (only for a moment) before he changed the subject to musical groups. We started a game of naming old 60's - 80's bands. Not that big a deal for me but since Jordan's only 17, pretty impressive on his part.
