Reverse Sun Pillar

I like winter because there are many atmospheric phenomena you don't usually see at other times of the year. This reverse sun pillar is the result of the sun going behind a cloud. There is yet enough light from the sun to illuminate ice crystals which are falling straight down in the still air. Not easy to take a picture of but rather cool (so to speak) to see.
