Downy Woodpecker (Picoides pubescens)

As I've said before, I have been having fun watching reruns of the Big Bang Theory. I listen for the physics terms to see if I remember anything from what I learned in college. Friday, one of the characters gave a layman's explanation of Schrödinger's cat to the woman cast member. Was so excited that I e-mailed a friend. "They talked about Schrödinger's cat and I even have the book In Search of Schrödinger's Cat. It's one of my fav's!" I babbled. My friend e-mailed back that she was enjoying her current read entitled Sex, Drugs, and Sea Slime - a book on marine biology.   Both of us had a good laugh - just how geeky can we get?
