I felt like the walking dead this morning. Not enough sleep, 250 cows to milk, hot, and after milking, I would have to scrub down the parlor. Fortunately, there really isn't ever a time where you are doing nothing while milking. Even if all 16 cows in the parlor are milking, there are used dip cups to clean and refill, return lanes to scrape, and, this morning, we were also spraying cows feet to prevent warts. No time to dwell on my aches/pains/or lack of sleep. However, once I got home... well, not much I remember of this afternoon.
