Gray Treefrog
In May, when I picked up potted flowers at the Winter Gardens, they gave me "bonus bucks" which were coupons that could only be used in the month of July. An obvious ploy to get people back during their slack summer months. It worked w/ me since Brent and I jumped in the car after my library gig to make the 1/2 hour journey. Brent hadn't been there before and was impressed w/ the size of the place. Many of the greenhouses were almost empty but I found daylilies and another peony which I'll plant this weekend. They'll take hold during the remaining summer months and bloom next spring/summer. It will be a nice surprise next year since by then I'll probably have forgotten I planted them.
