After milking, it was time to scrub down the parlor. Decided to pull out the steamer again w/ it's new attachment that is long enough to do ceilings. Told Mike to give it a try and perfect a technique which wouldn't get the operator completely drenched. While he worked on one side of the parlor, Lisa and I used the brushes to scrub the other side. When it came time to switch sides, poor Mike looked like he'd been in a wet t-shirt contest. There was no way to do it w/o getting completely soaked, he said. I decided Mike should also do the ceiling on the other side of the parlor rather than switching off w/ Lisa or me. There are benefits to being in charge - even when it's only of the cleaning crew.
