Stopped in to see Aunt June. She decided to forgo the resident's meeting and we went to the Bird Room to visit. She still had her agenda for the meeting so we went over that. First item was an opportunity for anyone to talk about issues w/ nursing, dietary, cleaning, security, social, or financial staff. June said she was happy and had no problems. Next agenda item was the special events for March - St. Patty's Day music, an outing to Wal-Mart, local 3rd graders coming to interview residents, and a "pig party (?)". Next item was any suggestions on future outings, projects, things-to-do, etc. I came up w/ some off-the-wall stuff that probably is undoable but got June chuckling. Then it was time for June to go to bingo and I to finish my errands. Think we both enjoyed the break from our routines.
