Russell bringing home the maple sap

My first day of volunteering at the library was a bust.  When I opened the back door of the library w/ the key they gave me, I came face to face w/ a lady.  She was as surprised as I was.  Seems the scheduler had put us both on the same day.  Let the first lady handle this weekend and I went shopping and then home.  I had checked w/ the township's rep on the library board before offering to be a volunteer.  She had assured me the library was always looking for people.  I wonder if that is really the case.  As my sister pointed out, it's the perfect place to volunteer - you stay warm, dry, and the clientele is even in a good mood.
