Oscar Awards Show  tonight and I watched a little of the red carpet stuff just to see what the actors were wearing.  Can't get too excited about the show itself.  Usually it's horrible w/ actors delivering lame jokes, skits that just eat up time, and embarrassingly gushy acceptance speeches.  Tomorrow's news will include clips of anything truly interesting or original that occurs.  Instead, I'll jump into bed and listen to Old Time Radio on Public Broadcasting: Charlie Chan will solve a murder case and give #1 son some sage advice; Sargent Preston of the Mounties and his dog King will come to someone's rescue; and Light's Out will scare the bejeezus out of me.
