R - Vole paths under the snow

One of my pictures was published!

OK, it's a picture of the dairy owners not one of the back-yard ones (still a pretty good picture).  OK, it's Progressive Dairyman, not a magazine you'll find at most news stands.  OK, it's buried inside and not the cover.  OK, it doesn't include my name as photographer (doesn't have any by-line).  However, does any of that really matter?

I know what you are saying and how you feel. But darn, don't you wish they would have given you credit? I had a quilt published in a nation quilt magazine. No credit as it was a design I was commissioned to make for the designer. I had 5 minutes of notiriety when I found the magazine, then found the pic and announned to my friends standing nearby. JVM

Congratulations! It could be the start of something big! Maybe word will get around in the dairy circles and you will get asked to do a photo op of something - perhaps even prized herd stock.

I think many of your nature shots could be published in some magazines. Some of those fungi are unique - is there a Fungi Quarterly magazine?
