Full Wolf Moon

Seasonably cold.  Eric, the owner, walked in just before we finished milking and said it was -32 degrees F.   I'd checked the AccuWeather forecast the night before.  It said that we would get to -22 but that it would only feel like a -17.  I have tried unsuccessfully to figure out why, when temps are that low, RealFeel says don't worry - it'll feel warmer.  RealFeel is AccuWeather's trademarked set of equations which takes into consideration air temp, humidity, direct sunlight, etc.  to figure out what it would feel like on exposed skin.  Maybe when it gets to be that far below zero, a person is so frozen that they can't register any more cold?

Beautiful picture! Remember when we were young, they usually closed school when it was -20F? Must have had something to do with the school bus operating in those cold temps. In Indiana, it seems like they close school if it seems a little cloudy. Ha!

What is a Full Wolf Moon? Looks like a Harvest Moon but maybe those only happen in the fall?
