B - Tinder Polypores

Time to get rid of the Christmas sale catalogs to make way for the garden & seed catalogs. Since here, in the Northwoods, one would need to dig away the snow and then chip at the frozen earth in order to plant a seed, you might wonder why garden and seed catalogs come out so early. Garden and seed catalogs are different from other catalogs. They are meant to be dreamed and drooled over. Every page brings visions of plants bursting w/ blooms and orchards laden w/ fruit. You are suppose to take your time, sitting by a warm fire, perusing pages of tried & true, heirloom and specialty varieties of pumpkins & peonies, asparagus & apples, bleeding hearts and berries. Makes the next few months of looking out at frost and icicles somewhat more bearable.

Warm weather is only three months away - just a few cold months from now! Enjoyed your day lily picture a few days ago. Will make a good screen saver until we can see the real thing again.
