Jasper banded schist

The January thaw seems to have come in December. It was 37 degrees (yes, above zero) on the way to work this morning. I thought, at one point, of opening a window in the parlor but since the guy milking w/ me had a parka and knit cap on, decided I would tough it out. After work, it was still 37 degrees but now it was raining. When Indy and I went for our walk, a thick fog had developed from all of the sublimating snow. Tomorrow's drive into work should be fun - either icy, foggy, (or both).
