Orange Jelly (Dacrymyces palmatus)

Annual Budget and the November Town Board meeting tonight. We usually run them back to back - budget and then board. For whatever reason, the chairman decided to run them in reverse - board and then budget. Probably turned out for the best. There was a bit of a, well, discussion during the board meeting and then almost everyone left during the boring end part of the board meeting when I present bills to be paid. By the time, the board adjourned the town meeting and started the budget meeting, only one person remained. Since there was no one to ask any questions, the board accepted the budget as proposed and ended the budget meeting in record time. Not the worst thing in the world - can't remember when we've referred back to the budget we make each year.
