Yesterday we had the second lowest
barometric pressure ever recorded here. Made for a lot of wind. I had taken in anything outside that could get blown away but had left the double glider on the deck. I couldn't have moved it far anyway - it was too heavy. But during the night it was pushed by the wind off the deck and was upside down on the ground. On the way into work I saw a tree in the road and one stop sign was inexplicably only a foot off the ground. The forest denizens seemed to take it all
in stride. Almost got a 10 point buck that just stood in the road and watched me drive up to it.
