Since I won't be working tomorrow, the dairy owners were nice enough to bring in a box of doughnuts for my birthday this morning. I told the other milkers to feel free and take one. At the end of milking, I was rinsing down the parlor when the new kid, Jordon, came in, raised his doughnut, and said, "Thanks. I'd tell you Happy Birthday but I don't know if getting older is all that happy."
... Deep sigh ... This is what I get for working w/ teenagers. I responded w/ the old line, "It's better than the alternative". He's young enough to think I came up w/ that one on my own.
