Sneezeweed (Helenium autumnale)

We use the white boards at work to leave messages for the owners, herdsman, or next milking crew. This morning there was the cryptic note: "160 fell in parlor". Once in awhile a cow will slip and fall but I don't make any notes about it. Figured there was more to this. When Sailor (a/k/a #160) came in she went into the stanchion just fine but then decided to go down on her knees and then let her back legs go out flat. She crawled under the stanchion and stood in the alleyway. She was developing a nasty habit. I ran her in w/ the next group of cows being loaded and when she finally came back into the parlor, didn't turn her into a stanchion but milked her sideways. I told the new herdsman what had happened but this is only his second day on the job and he still has a shell-shocked look to his eyes. Left a more descriptive note for the next crew.
