Yellow Birch staminate flowers
I stand around 3 feet below the cows as they walk into the parlor. The cows walk in and make a 90 degree turn into their stanchions. When 8 have entered the parlor I shut a gate and the rest of the cows wait their turn. I was putting the milker on the last cow in the group and Vanilla, a very friendly cow, was in the waiting area. She stuck her head through the bars, sniffed my hair, out came her long - very long - tongue, and she licked me upside the head. Lisa, the intern, looked over and started laughing. One side of my hair was sticking straight up in a literal "cow lick". Who needs hair gel! Vanilla must approve of my new Orange-Ginger shampoo.
