Orchids

There was a problem this week in a buried oil line so the Oil Company sent a pig through (not a real one) and found the problem was directly underneath a neighboring farm's barn yard. An Oil Company rep went to explain to the farmer that they would spend 6 weeks tearing up the yard to fix the problem. "What am I suppose to do w/ my cows during that time," the farmer asked. "Can't you sell them and buy some new ones later?" said the rep. Reminded me of a girl in my high school class who couldn't understand why some of the farm kids couldn't go on a day long outing. "Can't you just milk the cows extra hard in the morning?" she wailed.
