The on-line service of the library has the optional ability to keep track of my reading history. I turned it on last year. So I can say w/ confidence that I read 50 books last year. Well, "read" isn't exactly what I did. They were all on disk and I listened to them in the car. Still, the number surprised me - so I looked over the list. There was one that I didn't complete - it was pretty bad and I turned it back in after enduring an hour. I obviously have favorite authors; their names turn up again and again. My choice of genre is definitely "mysteries" but there are some "histories" thrown in here and there. I remember the Bush administration's Patriot Act allowed the FBI to check into any one's library reading history. While mine isn't very exciting - just as glad that was ruled unconstitutional.

Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Hogwash! This blog has been wonderful from the very beginning. Not just the narrative, either. Love the pictures, too. It has inspired more of us to start one ourselves.
