Wild Strawberries in Fall

Had to drive to the dairy this morning in a blizzard. We only received an accumulation of 6 inches but the wind was screaming as it tore past the house at 3:30 am. I got up, encased myself in silk long johns from neck to toe (they feel so-o-o good) and then put on my usual jeans & t-shirt. I threw my sleeping bag and an extra coat & boots in the back of the car, pocketed my cell phone and took off 15 minutes earlier than usual. The plows were out and about so didn't encounter any really large drifts but I also didn't go much over 40 m/p/h on the trip. Arrived safely & on-time. Just another day in the Great White North (USA).
