Sunrise

Met my friend, Nancy, for breakfast this morning. It was her turn to pay and she stared at the bill for a moment when it came. "They took off 10%," she said. "They gave us a senior citizen discount!" Now I'm sure that is greatly appreciated by the restaurant's older patrons. When you are years away from 62, it's a slap of reality. Fortunately, we went Christmas shopping right afterward. It's hard to remain upset Christmas shopping.
