Winterberries and snow

Was surprised to find a covering of snow on Friday morning. Even more surprised to have it snow all day today. Usually we've lost all trace of color and the landscape is bleak and barren by the time we start getting snowfalls so it was interesting to see the snow on top of the fall leaves. Indy and I went out tracking. Found the usual rabbit and deer tracks and then found tire tracks. They are easy to follow so took off after them until we reached the edge of the property. I'm beginning to look forward to winter.
