Cattails

The milk plant sent out evaluators to the dairy yesterday. I didn't see them but the herdsman said they went out into the barn area to count how many cows are chewing their cud, sleeping, or eating. Those activities are suppose to show cows that are at ease in their environment. We had an "excellent" score, he said. I'm guessing that it wasn't a perfect score though. If Snickers sees someone new around she is too curious to not amble over to check out who it is and maybe get her head scratched. Wonder what score they give that activity?
