Sunset Colors

As the news announced that Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night had died, their song 'Joy to the World' played in the background.  Brought back memories of my first year of college.  I went to Cedarville Baptist Bible College in Cedarville Ohio.  I liked College President Dr. James Jeremiah but the college had many, many rules governing student behavior.  I learned quickly from my roommates ways to bend/break rules which we felt were too restrictive.  The ban on rock music was often just ignored and 'Joy to the World' in particular could be heard on the quad or in the dorm corredors. I'm sure it was a fav because it starts w/ Negron belting out  "Jeremiah was a bullfrog..."
