Pin Cherry blossoms

I pounded in two bright yellow metal signs embossed w/ "Pesticides applied. Keep Off" along the highway.   They include stick figures of a person, child, and dog enclosed in a red circle w/ a slash through it.  I texted Neighbor Blake to let him know that I'd put up the signs but not to be concerned.  I expect him to let me know what he does w/ the fields I rent out to him so he should also expect me to let him know if I've made any changes.  The signs are in-line w/ the lilac bushes and won't interfere w/ anything he does in the field.  The signs are technically within the roadway easement.  I plan on removing them in June or at least before the county's brushing crew comes through.   Pretty sure they won't brush the highways this early in the spring though.  Since the 1950's the state has encouraged wild bird and insect populations which often use the tall grasses and brush that grows in the road easement for propagation purposes.  They obviously will brush for safety purposes at anytime but try to put off mowing operations until just before invasive species would be coming into bloom.  The signs I put up are an experiment to see if they deter people parking their cars on a dangerous hill, walking through a deep ditch, and jumping up to break off lilac branches to take home.   No pesticides have been applied.   Yes, I am aware of laws against 'lying in a roadway' but that's  semantics.   Fairly certain those laws don't apply to this kind of a 'lie'.
